Requires:

Mac^® OS 8.0 or higher, 32 MB of free RAM
Windows^® 95 or higher, 32 MB of free RAM
MapInfo^® 4.0 or higher version

Important recommendations:

The Database can be started from the CD, however, making a copy on the hard disk is strongly recommended for full and faster performance (450 MB required).

Internet Explorer allows the Database to be started directly from the main page, clicking on the outline of Italy. An extensive and illustrated user manual is available by clicking "operating manual" on the main page.

Running the Database requires MapInfo^® 4.0 or higher version (http://www.mapinfo.com). A set of sample images describing the main characteristics and functionalities of the Database is supplied on the CD for users that do not have MapInfo^® (click "samples" on the main page).

A set of utility programs is also supplied with the Database (click "related software" on the main page).
