This window supplies the main geometric
and kinematic parameters of the source, such as its location, length,
width, strike, dip and rake, and informs about the evidence that was used
by the compiler to constrain them.

This window provides the available information
and hypotheses concerning the seismic behaviour of the selected source.
The parameters shown in this window were either derived from published
material or inferred from it or from other lines of evidence, in which
case it is implied that they were calculated or hypothesised by the compilers.
Significant parameters include: the date of the most recent strong earthquake
associated with the source, the corresponding elapsed time, the average
recurrence interval, the slip-rate and the average dislocation per event.

This window contains a number of summaries
of papers dealing with the identification and characterisation of the
selected source, with reference both to its geologic evidence and to the
associated seismicity. This section gives the reader the opportunity to
evaluate the level at which the source has been studied by specialists
and provides an overview of data and approaches that have been used to
identify and characterise the source.

This window contains a list of references
to publications dealing with the seismic source or with the region surrounding
it

This window presents descriptions and
comments concerning what the compiler has (or has not) found in the literature,
the main conclusions, the most debated points and the questions that remain
open. Unlike the "Summaries of the main studies" window, where the previous
works are simply presented and summarised objectively, this section is
entirely based on personal judgement. As such it forms the "core" of the
analysis and the starting point for further investigations.

An iconographical collection (drawings
and photographs) associated with a given source. The images are either
original (i.e., prepared by the compilers of the Database) or taken from
significant published papers.
